What it does

Bill Catcher at a glance

One folder, the whole inbox

Point Bill Catcher at its folder once. Everything you drop in after that is picked up.

Sorted for you

Receipts, invoices, refunds and failed payments each get their own category, and marketing emails are set aside.

Income and expenses

Sales invoices you sent are told apart from bills you paid, so income is recognised as well as costs.

Line items

Each line on a bill becomes its own row, useful for stock records and job costing.

Review first, then automatic

You confirm the first bill of each layout. After that, bills like it are read the same way.

Zoom on the original

A zoomable preview shows the bill beside its reading, so small print is easy to check.

Ask Claude, if you want it

Optionally let Ask Claude read an unusual file on your own key. Once a layout is learned, it is read on your PC again and again.

Your own file format

Results save to Balaur Data Extractor's own .balaur spreadsheet, so Excel is optional.

How it works

Four steps.

Export

Download your Gmail with Google Takeout.

Drop it in

Put the download in Bill Catcher's folder on your PC.

Check

Confirm the first bill of each layout in the review step.

Use it

Send the rows to Data Tools, Tax mode or your accounting files.

A person always has the final say: every reading is shown for review, and readings that look off are flagged.
